Help Pope Francis Center prepare our Christmas backpacks to give to our guests on Christmas Day!
Volunteers are needed to sort, assemble, and store about 250 drawstring style backpacks filled with warm weather gear and hygiene kits which will be given as an extra special gift to our guests on Christmas Day at the center.
If you'd like to help with this opportunity, plan to be on your feet and moving around frequently. You will work with Chris Leon and other members of program staff to ensure each bag has the same items and is complete.
If all 250 backpacks are filled before shift end, you will be able to leave early.
At the start of your shift, please buzz in at the back door of the center and meet up with Chris Leon.
